Nigerian ISP Coollink has launched a new state-of-the-art Konnect Africa VSAT based broadband VSAT service. Coollink wanted to use the Konnect Africa platform in a Virtual Network Operator (VNO) configuration, resulting in the ability to build VSAT products tailored to the needs of the local Nigerian Internet market.
The flexibility of their existing SOLID Business Automation Platform allowed Coollink to be the first ISP in Nigeria to launch these exciting new Konnect Africa based services – complementing their existing array of High-Speed Internet Fibre, Wireless and VSAT product offerings.
The Coollink SOLID platform configuration integrates directly with the Eutelsat Konnect Africa backbone, and Coollink’s own Sandvine Bandwidth manager – allowing Coollink to design their products in SOLID with custom data allocations, speeds and bandwidth profiles.
SOLIDitech’s fully integrated solution enables Coollink to automate the delivery of their new VSAT products, offering a superior customer experience from sales to support.
Highlights of the new Coollink SOLID VSAT products include:
- Automated order fulfilment
- Automated upgrades and downgrades
- Automated service suspension periods
- Single-click service admin
- Single-click user portal
- Automate install detection
- Real-time online service usage views and top up purchases
The flexibility of the SOLID product builder modules allow Coollink to offer customised products that are defined in SOLID and automatically provisioned to the Konnect Africa VSAT and Sandvine Bandwidth manager for instant Internet Access.
The end result is the high quality fully integrated VSAT product offering that Coollink was looking for.
